Australia wins ICC Champions Trophy
Damien Martyn and man of the match Shane Watson stitched together an unbeaten-103 run partnership to take Australia to their first Champions Trophy win with an eight wicket victory over West Indies at the Brabourne stadium here today.Australia were set a revised target of 116 runs in 35 overs after a two-hour rain delay by the West Indies. Martyn and Watson batted sensibly after the world Champions found themselves in early trouble at 13 for two. However, they secovered to compelete the chose in 28.1 overs and make 116 for two, to win by eight wickets with 6.5 overs to spare.
