Bomb hoax in Sealdah, west bengal
A hoax call of planting a bomb inside a coach of Sealdah bound Teesta-Torsha express delayed about one departure of the train this morning, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) officials said.A phone call to railway officials at Alipurduar station in neighbouring Jaipaiguri district forced the railwaymen to call police and bomb squads, who made a through search of the coaches but found no explosives.
This delayed the departure of the 3142 Dn Teesta-Torsha train for an hour from its originiating station, Alipurduar.
Last week unidentified terrorist group detonated a powerful bomb at a local train at Belacoba station in Jalpaiguri in which eight people were killed and many inujred.
